After 24.00, upstairs room Akab "I AM SEXTEEN. Come & Play!" art project in which music, photography and fiction together to create a total involvement of the public in an entertaining, outrageous and colorful!

supersexy or supertrash. Ultrachic or radical-homeless, to us it is just a poser! Play processed and re-invent with fake mustaches and wigs, sculetta like Madonna, like Elvis wiggle with fake guitars and microphones, brushes. Sprinkle with glitter and colorful necklaces, then you had fun photographing the strangest poses to the beat of electro and '80s hits. A corner where bizarre take themselves too seriously is a taboo!

1. DJ SET: The set of DJ AM I SEXTEEN has a singular atmosphere and very selective, which recalls the sound of the underground clubs in London, Paris, Milan and Berlin. The line up is mainly electro, with references to the nu-disco and synth-pop of the '80s, enriched by songs rockabilly / psychoblilly, indie rock and punk late 70's. The genera present in DJ sets are generally as follows: electroclash, nu-disco, new wave, synth pop, dirty electro, italodisco, indie rock, punk and post-punk, elctro deep, electro house, rockabilly / psychobilly.
   
2. The SET PHOTO: I AM SEXTEEN staff prepares for each event a real professional photo shoot, which varies depending on the theme of the evening thanks to the inclusion of backgrounds and always different. The public is "directed" by our photographers poses that will encourage better, more chic and more fun.
   
3. CORNER AND MAKE-UP DRESS UP: The special format is to include a corner with the makeup and costume. The costume and make-up artist I AM SEXTEEN advise the public of the most suitable clothes and make-up better in the second proposal of the idea and the step that you have in mind to do. A publicly available for the photo shoot: wigs of different colors and shapes, various types of clothing, accessories (glasses, sunglasses, necklaces, bracelets, etc. ..), hats, glitter, sequins, colored hula hoop, and feather boa , toy musical instruments, toys and colorful knickknacks.

For the new season 2009/2010, the project Remove the Art organizes a series of seven pivotal events from the known Roman club AKAB , located in via di Monte Testaccio 69 to Rome.

Second round of the draft set for Friday, November 20 21.00 .

Admission: € 10.00 with buffet and drink Included . Part of collection will be donated to charity the humanitarian foundation AMREF in the course of the evening with gadgets and information leaflets on emergency in Africa (www.amref.it)

The comparison of styles, essences, souls and ideas have the common goal of leading the public not only in art and abstraction, but especially along the path of each individual artist, during which not miss the chance to sample the many delicious varieties of dishes offered by the Local, good wine and good music.

The competition will see several guest artists such as sculptors, photographers, painters, designers and stylists.

All performances will be accompanied by a musical concert.

The public has an active part in the evening as Popular Jury . It may indicate not only the favorite artist, but also give a vote to the band in concert.

anyone's vote is important to select the finalists who will attend the event in June 2010 (as a prize € 600.00) and to indicate the favorite band that will accompany the closing night of the competition!

To all this, add a technical jury for the Art section who will guide and evaluate the work of artists.

Objective : objective of the project is to provide the opportunity for artists to emerge in every industry. Participating with their works at events targeted, the project will not only capture the attention of the public already included in our communication channel, but also the other not directly concerned with these issues in an effort to raise awareness and expand the network of contacts is vital for any young artist.
