Friends, I am almost 3 years that our organization has been fighting the local level to defend the rights of citizens, making a tenacious and hard work, we assured at all simple. We have always offered a tortured in antagonism to the bad policy that governs us inexorably in every place and in every action creating imbalances, especially not social indifference. Unfortunately things, especially in a strictly local (Fiumefreddo) are not much changed, the same way Social remained such. After years of struggle against those who might seem windmills lost strength, enthusiasm, perhaps even credibility, the only courage and will to keep us right on you, on those who follow us and still believe that our presence is useful .
In us there is still the desire to continue to do our job, but missing two fundamental things:
1 - The economic resources to "do something" the budget of 2008 was clearly at a loss, the outputs of the only alternative news prints were 30% higher than total revenue. Our association has also been the only Fiumefreddo who has never asked or took money from any institution or public body.
2 - The trust of readers and those who follow us: where in recent years at our expense, we often fought the great powers of the entities, for the rights of all our fellow citizen, the most free criticism, often degenerated into insults, We had come from those citizens who were defending, we need to know Alternative Youth who still wants to continue to exist.

2009 - The year of hope? 5 Points for
Dear readers, today opens a new solar year for the world history. Our association would like to ask, therefore, best wishes to you all because this is represents a better year.
For us, the Youth Alternative year was important but not easy. E 'was primarily the year of Alternative News, the newspaper that because of the sacrifice and the help of some of you were present in the social life of the country but also the year that the nature of things we could not achieve other practical steps . Therefore a difficult year, which requires us to look to the future with hope but also with great humility and realism. We can not be considered a critical situation, unfortunately, of our reality.
Monday, 30 we held the usual meeting of members at year end, in four who were not was difficult to look at each other and understand well the reality that has been and what will be. The economic situation (the budget will be available online in the next few days) is practiced in the past, many times we were forced to self-assessed in order to publish any number of our newspaper as receipts of the few local sponsors were not enough even for the ink . We can not hide behind a finger, we understood that the verdict of the majority of our citizens against our initiatives has been largely critical. Unfortunately, the summary of our little meeting was this and honestly with these assumptions is by no means easy to find solutions, to find hope. But if the gritty realism is one of our mottos has always been, even the tendency to give up was not always our strong point. We want to have hope, we will not give up because the will is there, the will as well but it is clear that under these conditions would be wrong to play a "therapeutic obstinacy" that would become unnecessary and unproductive.

It is with this name who this month will launch a membership campaign, where every supporter will be able to decide, with a small symbolic contribution, if Alternative Youth will continue to exist.
