The competition involved during 2009-2010 about 40 artists and as many as 8 bands. The evenings, from October to April - all hosted by AKAB disco in Testaccio (Rome) - had the goal for comparisons between styles, essences, souls and ideas leading the audience not only in art and abstraction, but especially along the path of each individual artist.
Two juries, that technique (consisting of Ross Calbi, Sarah Carlet, Cristina Carnevali, Alessandra Lucrezia Ricciardi) and the People have in turn selected the six finalists between photography, painting and sculpture that last Sunday, a small library The Literary Cafe have fought the first three places.
around their collective works of Art (in order): photography - Andrew dell'Artino, Massimo Lauriola, Car3_Rome, MeRyLeM, Terlizzi, Maurizio, painting - Samantha Pasini, Alessandra Muntoni, Luca Candidi - Crafts with Carla Olivieri, objects with Sara & Luca, fashion Rosemarie Panza, impromptu Adela Filipovici (bodypainting), Lavinia Tucciarelli (fashion and costume).
The ceremony, conducted by Richard Pinto and Viola Cinti (organizers of the project), saw the first place (500 euros) the works of sculptor Gabriele Abruzzo Mastroddi, in second place (300 euro) those of the Sardinian-born sculptor Andrea Pili and, finally, the third place (equal to 200 Euro) shots of the photographer Vignudelli Chiara, a young reporter in Rome.
Soon, young people find their personal six emerging artists in several art galleries in Rome and known places of the capital by virtue of that intent which is behind the project in the Art Slide: ask for a higher level in attempt to act as a glue between those who produce the art, some of it is nourished and those who still do not know the "taste".
